Bern, the Quartz City

Journey into the Energetic Heart of Switzerland

Bern is not just a city. Those who live here long enough can feel it, a calm yet powerful vibration like a heartbeat pulsing beneath its streets.

Bern was built on an ancient plateau of siliceous sands and quartz-rich rock, natural amplifiers of subtle energy.Geologically, it rests upon a vast natural circuit that quietly transmits information between the Earth and the sky.

In many traditions, quartz is the stone of memory and clarity.Seen through that lens, Bern becomes a vast inhabited crystal, a slow, resonant organism, a natural clock that measures not only time but consciousness itself.

Geobiological maps show that the hills and the River Aare form a spiral of energy around the old town. The main intersection of these energetic lines appears to pass near the Zytglogge, the astronomical clock that marks celestial rhythms, a perfect symbol of the dialogue between the breath of the Earth and the movement of the heavens.

The fountains of Bern, adorned with expressive and sometimes mysterious figures, are more than decoration. Each represents an archetype the Warrior, Justice, Temperance forming an open-air Tarot path for those who walk attentively.

I have been studying Tarot and Archetypes since I was fifteen. From my very first days here, I could feel that Bern was speaking to me through its symbols. The statues, the curves of the Aare, the stones, even the light itself seemed to carry a message.Every corner of this city tells a story I already knew in my heart, as if my lifelong studies had found their mirror here.

Bern is a threshold city

Like quartz, it appears opaque until the light passes through

Those who live here with awareness feel time slow down, thoughts clear, and life return to its natural rhythm.

Perhaps that is why I, who once lived in the Canary Islands, the so-called Islands of Eternal Spring, fell in love with this quieter, inward light

I arrived here by chance, though chance does not truly exist, and I decided to stay

Bern stole my heart completely.

There is a magnetic stillness in these streets, something that roots you and calls you home.

It was here that I chose to open Marilü, my intimate space for energy and care, a place where the vibration of the city meets the vibration of the heart.

Walk from the Rosengarten down to the Zytglogge, pausing at each fountain.Breathe deeply and feel the quartz frequency beneath your feet. Each step aligns you, each breath connects you to the city.If you listen closely, Bern speaks back.

Bern is a clock, a crystal, and a heart.

Those who enter it with reverence leave more radiant than before
